Welcome to my web-site. This family tree is about my father's side the
Hovey-Large/Hewitt-Patterson's and my mother's side the
Johnson-Conner/Ruark-Howell's.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Working on this family tree has been extremely rewarding and I am so happy to
have the chance to share it. I have been collecting information on my family
history for several years and have had a huge amount of help from very
generous family members. This is definitely the result of all their help. A
great big thank you to all of them for so generously sharing their hard work
and family pictures. I couldn't have gotten this far without them!!!
Under Construction-this is a work in progress and some of the
information has yet to be confirmed. I have filled in the information that I
have, but there is a lot of information that I still need. I am always looking
for full names and birth dates and when people were married, where people were
born and buried. As you visit this site, if there are any blanks you can fill
in or find any mistakes please e-mail me and let me know. I can always use and
appreciate the help! My resources have been census, obituaries, birth and
death certificates, social security death index, some online sites and other
family researchers. It has been so much fun meeting new cousins from all over.
Please take a look at the unidentified photos and see if you recognize anyone.
I would also LOVE any family pictures you are willing to share.
I hope you enjoy these glimpses into the past!!  Please sign the guest
book and let me know what you think. I enjoy reading your messages. Come back
and visit again because I am always updating. This family tree is definitely a
puzzle without borders.
Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthday and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
